Obsidian Hosting
At Obsidian we offer a large range of hosting options. Our services are all monitored 24/7 and our experienced and friendly System Administrators are happy to answer your queries and offer any support that they can via phone and e-mail.
All services are hosted on the Debian Linux operatng system, in the secure "Netspace SpaceCentre" hosting facility in Victoria, Australia.
Standard Hosting Plans
The three most common Hosting plans are the Basic, Medium and Large plans:

- Secure Site facilities (Dedicated IP address, Online Store, etc) are available for an additional $4.95 per Month.
- Wide range of server hardware available for purchase, as well as customised installations.
- Hardware/Software Support contracts.
- Billing systems.
- Re-seller arrangements for web-designers/developers.
- Consulting/Programming work.
Please Note:
- All plans are subject to our Terms and Conditions.
- Hosting invoices will be sent out quarterly or annually and are payable in advance.
- Any excess traffic usage will be invoiced monthly via e-mail.
- The term 'Traffic' refers to the total combined MB inbound and outbound. 1 MB = 1,000,000 bytes - See our Examples of Traffic Usage.
- 'E-mail addresses' can be real Mailboxes or self-managed Mailing Lists. We are phasing out the use of e-mail forwarding to external addresses due to increased volumes of spam.
- Paper invoices can be sent via post at a surcharge of $2.
- All prices are INC GST.
Full local backups are provided, although we strongly recommend clients keep their own additional backups.
